Castner Updates

March 3, 2010

We finally reached one of the most disastrous areas here called Dichato. We had 4 distributions points where we gave out milk and noodles and the Gospel. I had the opportunity to preach to each group. The people were very attentive and broken. When finished many were in tears and so thankful for what we are doing for them. I felt it was so little, but they felt it was so much! They literally hugged me in tears afterward.

We had tonleave the zone today and won't be returning until next Monday with a truck load of food. We need some more funds at this time. I would like to establish myself in the region for a couple of weeks. We would like to set up the big tent and park for awhile in the needest parts. We actually arrived before anyone else with tangible help.

Please pray for the group of men from our home church. I will have to takenthem to Stgo. Early tomorrow morning in the Jeep, since the flight is cancelled and the buses are not running. I will need your prayers for strengthat this time!

Brethren,

They are rationing gas right now, so we going to have wait since we are 4 - 5 hours away. We may be able to get gas to travel tomorrow. We are going to call the Embassy to see what type of relief work we may able to do until we can get funds down here! Pray! Our goal is getting the Gospel out. We are going to Villarrica today to see what we can do, this is down the road from our house!

Brethren,

Today was our last day of Family Camp and it poured down rain. Thankfully the Lord held back the rain during the week and we were able to get out today without any problems at all. We are encouraged at what the Lord is doing in hearts and lives here. We taught on Revival all week and we know that God is sovereign, but we focused on the conditions we must meet in order to see revival. I believe that as long as the Spirit of God is present on this earth there is hope for revival. I believe some were broken and others stirred, but revival has not yet taken place. Continue to pray if you will. This country is in desperate need of revival!!!

Pastor Javier Flores did a great job preaching each evening and he and his family are presently at our house and staying over for a couple of days. It is such a blessing to be around likeminded men in the ministry! There was a time in our relationship that we separated much like Paul and Barnabas or maybe like John Mark, but today it is evident that Javier is a man of God doing a great work for the Lord! Truly our labor in the Lord in not in vain!!! Please pray for his wife Roxanna and for their new baby of 1 month. They now have 5 children.

Thank you for your prayers!

Brethren,

We are busy gearing up for our Summer Camp here in Chile, Feb.1-6. We covet your prayers as we prepare the physical Camp in the next 3 weeks, but more importantly as we prepare SPIRITUALLY to meet with God! Our theme this year is Revival. Hab.3:2 states: “O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy”. OH, how we need revival of the work of God, here and around the world! Psal.85:6, “Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? “. Can we stand more rejoicing???

Revise Us Again in 2010!!!

Thank you for your prayers!
