Brethren,

Happy Father's Day! We had a good meeting in Pucon on Friday night to celebrate Father's Day. We had four visitors present and they listened with interest to the Gospel out of Luke 8, The Greatest Thing a Father Can Do - Jarius Came to Jesus and Invited Jesus to His House. When Jesus is in the House, He gives Life and Changes Lives! Glory to God for that!

We also had a great time in Loncoche last night. We only had one visitor, but everything went very well. We are grateful for all the ladies who have made this weekend special for us!

Have a Great Day in the Lord!

Brethren,

We praise the Lord for those who are going to follow the Lord in Baptism tomorrow. Please pray for Cecilia Camaaño and dauther Ximena (17), Cristian Gavilán (19) and Amelia Miranda (Quitratue) as they follow the Lord in obedience. There are several children who have made professions, but we are starting them on some discipleship materials dealing with salvation and growth before we consider them for baptism. In that group are Hannah and Timothy. It will be the parent´s job to do the training and then of course we will evaluate each of the children in time. The weather is cold and rainy now so we will set up a baptistery just outside the church building in Loncoche for the baptism, so they can change and warm up in the building immediately afterward. Many visitors will be present in the morning services for the Baptism and we plan on preaching the Gospel to the lost. Your prayers are coveted.

Brethren,

The Lord greatly blessed the efforts both in Pucon and Loncoche on Mother's day this year. In Pucon, there were a total of 12 ladies, 7 of which were visitors. Michelle said that they intently listened to the Word of God and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We had heard afterward that several had stated that they desire to return to the services.

There were 21 ladies present in Loncoche, 11 of which were visitors. Again, the Lord blessed exceedingly abundantly above our expectations. We ask you to continue to pray for these lost souls, many are family members, others are friends and neighbors.

On Sunday in Lastarrias, Alejandra, Amelia's sister came forward for salvation. She is not ready yet to be saved, but on Tuesday we went and began to deal with her from the Law. God is at work in her life and we ask you to pray for this women to come to Christ. We found out that her husband is an abusive alcoholic and has the whole family terrorized. His name is Luis.

We certainly appreciate your prayers for these souls.

Brethren,

Sorry to hold back on sharing the blessings, but I have been running to and fro. We had been tremendously blessed over the weekend again. On Saturday we went to la Paz, a small town around 10 miles south of Loncoche just off the main highway. We were able to blanket much of the town with literature while Bro. Rene and wife visited with a young married couple they ministered to in the past. They were used of the Lord several months ago to get this couple back together and they are still doing well and want to come to church and bring another family that is interested. The family took them across the street to visit with a lady that is literally on her deathbed with a terminal cancer in the liver. They contacted me and I was able to present the Gospel to Amadina and she indicated by a nod of the head that she wanted to be saved from her sins and later she indicated again that she had received Christ with a nod of the head again. We trust to see her in Heaven. She was so weak that she could hardly keep her eyes open. She may already be with the Lord. She is only around 30 years old. Her mother is a hardened Mapuche woman who did not even come near while we were presenting the Gospel, it was her father that was open. We had several other good visits in town as well and we are going back on Saturday to visit again and finish up with literature. 3 people also signed up for the Correspondence courses and we will drop those courses off.

We had another good Sunday, especially in Pucon. It was a packed house, but the greatest blessing of all was that Juan Matus, Oreana’s husband, came forward for salvation and received the Lord!  We had been praying for him for several years now. He had come on and off and actually made a false profession when we first started in Pucon, but praise God he is now a child of the King. Another young lady, Joana, who is a lawyer, and is engaged to be married to Gaston Pizarro, the young man that remodeled our house in Temuco, came Sunday night to Pucon and afterward she told me she is leaving a false church in Tolten. Some may remember Tolten! She told me that she wants to meet with us to talk about baptism since she never had been baptized. We plan to meet with both her in Gaston on a Saturday and the main theme in our first conversation will be salvation. Amen???!!! It is evident that the Lord is at work in hearts and lives. We just trust that this work will continue and that we won’t experience any more dry runs down here in Chile. Your prayers certainly make a difference!

Speaking of prayer, please pray for upcoming invents with a focus on Evangelism:

1) Mother’s day dinner Pucon – this Friday at 6:30pm. An effort is being made to get lost women to attend. Michelle’s is loading up  her Gospel gun!
2) Mother’s day dinner Loncoche  - this Saturday 6:30pm. My be lost present from Loncoche, Quitratue and Lastarrias. Ditto!
3) Baptismal Service end of the month – we have several from Loncoche and Quitratue preparing for Baptism in Discipleship.

We are grateful for your prayers and support of this ministry!

Brethren,

We had a good service on Saturday in Lastarrias. Sister Amelia’s mom, and two sisters came and an aunt. We found out that others could not come because of the service being at 4:00pm instead of later in the evening. Many are still harvesting potatoes and taking advantage of the days that it is not raining. Nevertheless, it was a good service and Amelia’s mom raised her hand recognizing her need of salvation, but did not make a move. She came on Sunday as well and still did come for salvation. Continue to pray for her.

We had an exceptionally good day on Sunday in all 3 services. Viviana, 10, came for salvation Sunday morning. Her mother Mery is a faithful member in Loncoche and Viviana has been brought up under the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. She is a very mature 10 year old and we believe her decision is genuine. In the 4:00pm service we had a good attendance in Lastarrias with the Lord working in hearts, several lost people in the service and we ask your prayers for them.

In the evening service in Pucon, 3 came forward for salvation, Connie (Ximena’s daughter), Francisco (Aida’s grandson) and Ignacio (Gloria and Pablo’s son). We were able to deal with each separately and they all called upon the Lord to save them. Juan Matus (Oreana’s lost husband) was present as well and raised his hand recognizing his need of salvation but didn’t move in the invitation. He had made a profession a couple of years ago, but no fruit. In fact he quit attending now for over a year. God has been working in his heart lately and he has become more open to the Word of God.

We are grateful to God for the moving of His Spirit in hearts! We haven’t seen many decisions lately and that had been a serious concern and serious matter of prayer. We covet your continual prayers for the brethren here and their spiritual growth. Thank you for your faithfulness.
